Wage parity

Home Care Worker Wage Parity was passed into New York state law in 2011. It established a minimum wage for home care aides who perform certain Medicaid reimbursed work within New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester.

While requiring a minimum rate of Total Compensation, the law provided some discretion to employers in the way in which they comply, making way for the provision of benefit programs.

We go above and beyond to ensure our programs are consistent with the various intersecting statutory and federal guidelines in place for qualified accounts.
